Prof. Dr. Serdar MÜLDÜR graduated in 1984 with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School, USA. Between 1985 and 2000, he served in the public sector in various positions such as operations engineer, project engineer, operations manager, and head of the information systems department at the computer center. He completed his Ph.D. at Gazi University, Institute of Science, in 1999. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2004. From 2000 to 2017, he worked at Havelsan Inc., in the Command, Control, and Information Systems Department as Director and Deputy General Manager, where he contributed to the development of national command and control software for MILGEM-national ships and submarines, mission system software for military aircraft and their ground control units, and management information systems for various public institutions. Between 2000 and 2018, he served as a visiting faculty member at various universities, teaching undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral-level courses. From 2007 to 2019, he held positions as a board member, chairman of the board, and supervisory board member in defense industry companies. Prof. Dr. Serdar MÜLDÜR has publications in national and international journals. His research interests include Software Engineering, Software Quality, Database Applications, and Management Information Systems.
