Prof. Dr. Feyzullah Temurtaş graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Middle East Technical University in 1991. He received his master’s degree from Dumlupınar University in 1995 and his PhD from Sakarya University in 2000.

Prof. Dr. Temurtaş began his professional career as a research assistant at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University and Dumlupınar University. Between 1996 and 2002, he worked as an engineer, Calculation Manager, and R&D Manager at organizations including Atek Kablo, Makyal Enerji, AEG ETİ, GEC Alsthom, and ALSTOM. During this period, he also worked as a part-time researcher at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM).

From 2002 onward, he focused on his academic career, serving as a faculty member at Sakarya University, Bozok University, and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University. At these institutions, he undertook various administrative responsibilities, including Head of Department, Dean, and Vice Rector. He earned his associate professorship in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2006 and in Computer Science and Engineering in 2021.

Prof. Dr. Temurtaş was included in the 2025 “World’s Most Influential Scientists” (Career-Long Impact) list published by Stanford University and Elsevier. He has more than 200 publications and ongoing patent studies in engineering, particularly in artificial intelligence and computer science. His current research focuses on deep learning, biomedical signal processing, and autonomous systems.
